Denizens creates thoughtfully curated dance music events in Vancouver, designed to celebrate the growing culture of dance music. Denizens’ values are rooted in inclusion, connection, safety, and fair compensation for artists and team members. Our mission is to uplift and evolve the Vancouver dance music scene by providing intentional spaces where artistry and connection thrive.

Whether you’re dancing under the summer sun at our patio pop-ups or enjoying one of our collaborations with venues across the city, you can expect an atmosphere where community, music, and art intersect.

The word “Denizen” means an inhabitant or occupant of a particular place. The intention is for everyone who joins in - whether on the dance floor or behind the scenes - to feel like they belong.
